Working in administrative support means evolving in a

Main functions
The incumbent is the first-line respondent to local
residents affected by the Company's worksites. She or he handles requests,
requests, comments, or complaints, thus contributing to social acceptability and
the carrying out of the Company's activities and projects. He or she
participates in the development and monitors the mitigation measures
implemented. He or she acts as a transmission belt between local communities
and the various sectors of the society concerned. More specifically she or he:
Receives and
analyzes all requests, requests, comments, or complaints to be handled by the
projects, received by email, telephone, or in-person. Communicates relevant
information to the various sectors of the Company concerned. May be called upon
to participate in the analysis and the search for solutions and mitigation
measures. Responds in a personalized way to local residents.
Conducts field
visits to analyze the impact of the Company's projects. Observe mitigation
measures and assess the satisfaction of residents near construction sites,
anticipates potential conflicts of healthy cohabitation or possible impacts
likely to increase the risk of complaints, and establish a relationship of
trust with the community.
Participates in
public participation activities on the sites entrusted to it to create a link
with local residents and capture any concerns.
Assists
stakeholders from the various sectors of the Company concerned in the
preparation of communications and the logistics of public participation
activities.
Updates the
reference information available at CECI to optimize the ability to handle
responses related to the social acceptability of the Corporation's projects.
Updates a register
of its interactions with local communities and residents. Produce statistics
and write reports.
Participate in
site coordination meetings to learn about the environment and project
constraints.

Requirements
College diploma
(DEC) in Human Sciences or in a relevant technical discipline
Have 3 years of
relevant experience.
Knowledge of the
English language is required, according to the language standard in force.
Any
training/experience combination will be considered in accordance with the
Employment Accessibility Guide, a suitable combination of requirements could be
used.
POSITION SPECIFICITIES:
Mandates and work environment:
Public information
sessions, site lookouts, meetings with local residents, or other activities
requiring the presence of the liaison officer in the field may take place in
the evening or on weekends and may require employed some flexibility in terms
of schedules.
On construction
sites or field visits, a name tag and a bib must be worn by the employee.
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of the
context of construction sites in municipal, urban and dense environments and of
Montreal local communities (asset).
Customer
orientation, interpersonal skills, communication, stress management, sense of
responsibility, analytical skills, and results-oriented.
Knowledge of the
Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook).
Working conditions
Workplace: Multi-site. Regular trips to the construction
sites, for field visits, during meetings with local residents, or any other
place requiring the presence of the liaison officer.
Schedule: 35 hours/week
